this is the academic journal of N.S.M. It is mostly to be an archive and for ease of tracking work in the final year of my PhD on the social, cultural and intellectual milieux of the Burnell family of Dublin, 1562 - 1649, and most of the entries will be private until finished. However, it is also for finding the occasional odd person who will stray in because they're actually interested in this stuff.
